I'm trying to wrap up all the loose ends before Christmas. There's still one more wedding to shoot this year and then it will all start again on Jan. 17th. I'm going to do a recap post a little closer the the end of December. I'm looking forward to looking back at all the weddings from this year.

I so enjoyed my vacation. This time last week I was laying on a beautiful beach on Paradise Island in the Bahamas! Ahhhh memories......I must say, being without my computer and cell phone was a bit challenging for the first couple of days and then I was OK and really started to enjoy my time of relaxation. I've made a decision to never wait too long to take a break again. :) By the way, if you or someone you know will be having a destination wedding and looking to book a photographer, let me know.... I'm so there!!!  :)

It seems that it went by way too fast! I'm too tired to make a full post, so I'll just give you one image for now. I must say, my little point and shoot camera did a terrific job! :) Now whenever I'm feeling a bit stressed... I'll just look back through the hundreds on images I shot and remember my days of relaxation. :)  I'll get back to blogging in the next day or so. I guess by now all of the regular blog readers are aware that my vacation is quickly approaching. I will be out of touch...literally for the next week or so. I'm not sure how I'll function with out my computer, email and my cell phone... but I'm sure gonna give it my best effort! :) I'm doing everything I can to fulfill orders and make deliveries before I leave. If you've placed an order within the last week, then you should receive it by the first of the week. If you do not receive it, rest assured it will be delivered when I return. If you need to contact the studio feel free to shoot me an email... but understand that I probably won't be able to respond until I return week after next.

I'll be taking my new little point and shoot camera with me to document my trip. It was funny when I went to buy it. I'm so used to my professional gear that I had to "figure out" how to use it. :) I hope I can get some decent images of beautiful sunsets and gorgeous beaches. ]]>Meet Jennifer and Tom : EngagementEngagementTop Ten Favshttp://dreamimageweddings.squarespace.com/blog/2008/11/19/meet-jennifer-and-tom-engagement.htmlStephenie2008-11-19T06:04:57Z2008-11-19T06:04:57ZJennifer and Tom's wedding is next May... which sounds a long time from now...but it will be here before we know it. :)  Their engagement session took place in the beautiful downtown Greenville a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful but very windy day. Jennifer's hair was all over the place. :)  Of course, I love the wind... it gives a bit of motion to the image. Unfortunately her hair was blinding Tom. :) We did manage to get away from it a bit though. We had a great time walking and finding locations for their photos. I'm looking forward to the wedding next year. I know Jennifer is going to make a beautiful bride. Thanks to Tom and Jennifer for a great session and for inviting Dream Image along. :)

Hope and Justin were so much fun during their session a couple of weeks ago. As you can see, they are adorable together. I can't wait to post some of Hope's bridal portraits after the wedding.
