G'ma Birthday Post : Belated

I'm just a wee bit late with this post about my grandmother, Mama Grace's birthday! We recently celebrated her 88th! :)  She's such a sweet woman with a great sense of humor and quite the personality. When I think about it, I believe she's the person that sparked my interest in the wedding industry. For years and years she baked wedding cakes. It seemed like every weekend there was a wedding cake sitting on the dining room table waiting to be picked up or delivered. She would sit making the edible flowers  to place on the cakes as we watched television. There were all kinds of flowers in all colors. I tried my hand a couple of times at making and decorating a cakes. Let's just say I'm much better at photography! :)

Our family is so thankful to have this beautiful woman in our lives. She's a joy and sometimes quite a handful. :)  I love you Mama Grace.... happy birthday again!!!
