A look Back Monday : random

Hey there dreamers! I hope you're well and blessed. We've just come off of a busy weekend. We showcased at Wedding Festivals this past Saturday. We had a terrific time meeting all of the brides, grooms, Moms, planners, sisters, bridesmaids etc. :)  We're looking forward to the year ahead!

On Sunday I got a chance to hang out with one of you couples who will be getting married later this year. I shot their engagement pictures and what fun we had! We took a trip up to Ceasar's Head, SC. I'll have a sneak peek for you shortly.

Howdy! Hope you're all blessed and well. I am and so thankful. I've been busy this week getting ready for the bridal show on Saturday. We'll be at Wedding Festivals from 10am to 3pm if you'd like to stop by! I'm looking forward to meeting all of the brides and grooms. :)

Lately I've been getting a lot request for head shots. Below is a few from my latest session. If you or someone you know is an aspiring actor/actress/model/singer/performer/author... let them know that we now have head shot packages set up. I've found that I really enjoy these sessions because it enables me to really capture the essence of my subject.

This young man is a natural. He's a singer, model and aspiring actor. This was his first official photo shoot, but you would have never known it by how well he took direction and how he was completely relaxed in front of the camera! His personality shines through on his images. I look forward to seeing how he succeeds!

happy monday!

Hello blog readers! I hope you're all doing well and having a great year so far. It's already February :)  I've been working hard on setting up business for 2010! We showcased at Wedding Festivals a couple of weeks ago in Spartanburg, SC. We met sooo many terrific brides and grooms. Thanks to everyone that stopped by our booth. We're looking forward to the year ahead and shooting tons of beautiful weddings.

Recently we launched a brand new website! Check it out when you have a moment... and let us know what you think! www.dreamimageweddings.com .  While I was updating images for the site, I came across soooo many beautiful images we've created over the last 51/2 years.  We didn't have a blog way back then.. so what I thought I would do was occasionally post some of my favorites from back in the day here on the blog. Maybe I'll designate Monday's as the "oldies but goodies" day. :)

Sometimes you may see images you've seen here before. Those will be images that I'm particulary attached to and therefore qualify as some of our absolute favorites. Here are a few images from Joy and Trevor's wedding captured at Mountain View Weddings about three years ago. Beautiful setting... beautiful couple.

Hello again! I hope you're doing well and feeling loved a blessed. I had a busy day today and preparing for a busy tomorrow as well. Lately I've been doing a lot of graphic work. Designing personalized invitations, announcements and greeting cards. The more I do it, the more I like it. There's nothing like having a completely custom product to present!

Here are some recent head shots from a session at Ceasar's Head.  The scenery is just divine and having a fabulous model doesn't hurt either! :) It was extremely cold on the day of this shoot... but we managed to get a few keepers. I'm particularly liking the black and white. What do you think?
